Kiwa brings together industry experts from Above and PV Evolution Labs to assess the severity of Potential Induced Degradation (PID) through a series of slides. Peregrine Fraser shares insight into what Above is seeing in the field and how high-quality aerial thermography can detect even the earliest signs of PID. Median and average degradation from PID in the 2021 Scorecard dataset is the highest in PVEL’s history whilst many module data sheets continue to advertise products as “PID resistant.”
