SolarGain Updates: A Look Back at Our Latest Enhancements

12/03/2025

At Above, we’re committed to continually improving SolarGain to provide a seamless and data-rich experience for solar professionals. Over the past few months, we’ve introduced several powerful features and enhancements across the platform. Here’s a look at what’s been released so far in 2025.

Key Updates & Enhancements

Admin users –  These users can now manage their company’s information, their users (create, edit & delete) and their shared interests.

Increased Digital Twin – The Digital Twin now can have up to 20 components to store information and images! We’ve added Weather Stations, CCTV, Substations and Batteries to complete the Digital Twin we already had.

Observations – new page! Now available to all Pro solar farms, we’ve replaced our Visual Reports pages with a brand new all-inclusive page, which allows you to:

  • View all the images you’ve ever uploaded in one place

  • Advanced Filter (including date ranges), which allows you to filter your three main pages – Dashboard, List & Map View

  • Bulk Actions based on the Advanced Filter applied – edit, add to tasks, export and share

  • Image Viewer and Carousel for better management of images taken on-site

Task Lists can now be used as Checklists! Tasks now include two awesome improvements:

  • Subtasks – Users can now create subtasks for all the tasks they create!

  • Templates – Templates allow users to pre-defined their list of subtasks so that they can be used repeatedly during the construction or operational phase of the solar farm.

Looking Ahead!

  • Drone in a Box – Above will be live on three different continents with Drone in a Box solution in Q2 2025 as the technology advances and customers start applying it for Planned Maintenance activities.

  • Portfolio Dashboard – We are doing a complete reconstruction of the Portfolio Dashboard page, to offer our users the best start to their journey in SolarGain.

  • Advanced Construction Monitoring Reports – We will be improving our Construction Monitoring reports to include:

    • Predicted and final variances

    • Milestones
