The UK summer arrived with a bang last week, we inspected 120MW of solar PV across 11 solar farms. That’s over 470,000 solar modules inspected in one week. This included a repeat inspection of a site suffering from PID. Our inspection showed that the reversal measures taken one year ago have resulted in a 90% reduction in impacted modules. A reassuring result and a testament to the value of accurate and consistent thermographic inspections.
